Meet Barkr

Barkr was co-founded by restauranteur Clay Nutting to help independent restaurants connect with more customers and bring in new revenue. While many online ordering solutions are centered around expensive delivery partnerships or require time consuming promotional efforts, Barkr works to cultivate and incentivize local foodies to discover restaurants like you!

Why Barkr?

Barkr was designed to connect foodies like you with exclusive and enticing offers from a wide variety of local restaurants. We want to reward our community by providing incentives to discover new restaurants and dine locally.

How does it work?

Simply visit and search and sort for offers that interest you. The more you dine, the more adventurous you are in trying new restaurants, the more you share, the more we reward you to try your find your next favorite offer!

Once I've placed my order online, can I cancel my order?

To cancel your order, you must contact the restaurant directly. If they are able to fulfill your request, they can issue a reimbursement.

Does Barkr deliver?

We currently do not offer a delivery feature, however, restaurants can set up a self-delivery feature if they choose.

Why should I order from Barkr instead of a third party?

We charge a very small service fee in comparison to third party vendors. We were designed with the restaurant industry in mind to allow them to keep their hard earned money.

How do I know if my order was received? Can I edit it once I submitted?

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email from us displaying your receipt. If you did not receive an email, reach out to and we will make sure your order is on its way! If you have any questions about your order, you can reach out directly to the restaurant.

Can online ordering save a guest's order history & credit card info?

As of right now, we can save the guest's payment method. We are working to save orders for future purchases. We are more than happy to look up your prior orders by reaching out to

What is needed from a restaurant to use Barkr?

Simply request to set up a restaurant profile on Barkr and we will help you add an exclusive offering that we can share with our network of local foodies.

How do orders get fulfilled?

We will share your offering on the Barkr app to foodies in your area. We promote your offering through social media, email newsletters, digital ads, and through our web-based and native app (coming soon). Barkr provides incentives to our network of foodies to engage with restaurants on our network. If they see something they like, they place an order and schedule a pick up time based on your specifications. When an order is made, you simply fulfill the order, and you will be paid within 2 business days.

How do I get paid?

Upon onboarding, you will be prompted to set up a Stripe account. All of your orders will be processed through Stripe. Once you're set up, payouts arrive in your bank account on a 2-day rolling basis.

Does Barkr provide any marketing support?

Barkr is a promotional platform that incentivizes local foodies to discover and support restaurants like you! We are working hard to continue to build the community and will continue to provide incentives to get them to return to their favorite restaurants and share with their friends, family, and community.

How do I change my online ordering schedule to account for my business hours and upcoming holidays?

When using our dashboard, you will have access to manage all settings, which include your hours of operations day to day.

Can online ordering save a guest's credit card information?

The guest will be able to save their credit card information if they choose to.

Can Barkr be integrated with my POS?

We currently are integrated with UpServe and Square. We are adding new POS integrations weekly. Otter integration is coming soon, check Barkr's Integration Partner page for up-to-date information. Any integration requests can be submitted to

Can I turn off online ordering  if we're busy or not operating?

Yes! You are in full control of your online ordering. More specifically, you can chose which day you would like to feature your prix fixe meal and only turn the platform on for that day.
